In late 2020, the walkways and decking at Eggersdorf lido were replaced.
Many types of timber are unsuitable for use in swimming pools and lidos due to substances they contain. Accoya was chosen as this high-performance wood is ideally suited to this specific application, as confirmed during tests conducted by Biologisches Labor Wien-Ost and already successfully demonstrated in multiple projects.
Jagerberg natural pond
Accoya was chosen for the construction of jetties, playground equipment, climbing frames and much more at the Jagerberg natural pond. We supplied approx. 200 m² of rough-cut Accoya wood for this project, which was implemented in 2016/2017.

An interesting project was completed using Accoya in Graz in summer 2020. In addition to the new Mursteg Bridge, which can be used both on foot and by bike, the Grünanger shallow water zone was also remodelled.
The city of Graz purposefully chose to use Accoya for the Habitat Mur project because it is extremely long-lasting and unparalleled in its durability, there is virtually no formation of cracks due to low swelling and shrinkage, and it is low-maintenance. Furthermore, the high-performance wood also withstands extreme weather conditions, is pleasant to walk on with bare feet and is sourced from sustainable forestry.

The conversion of our office building was completed using our own high-quality products.
These products included Medite Tricoya as well as the use of Accoya for the windows, façade and patio. By way of a pilot, the project also made use of teak veneer Tricoya wall panels. The interior was designed using rosewood veneer in the entrance area.
