A mountain-top restaurant on the Kreischberg: ‘The Eagle’

‘The Eagle’, the new mountain-top restaurant at the Kreischberg ski resort, is a real eye-catcher. Opened in 2020, it sits enthroned on the summit of the mountain like an eagle in repose. We are proud that we have been able to furnish the material for its interior design. Faithful to the ‘ski chalet’ tradition, wood has been used for the interior layout to ensure a cosy atmosphere. The wooden furniture, wall cladding and ceiling panels blend with the glass façade and concrete basement floor to create a modern building that is completely in tune with the times. Particularly striking features include the 15-metre long bar made up of oak panels, or the organically formed oak tables. Although you can get a quick snack from the ‘Eagle Drive In’ without even taking your skis off, we still recommend visiting ‘The Eagle’ itself to enjoy its homely, ski-chalet atmosphere.
