Eggersdorf lido
In late 2020, the walkways and decking at Eggersdorf lido were replaced.
Many types of timber are unsuitable for use in swimming pools and lidos due to substances they contain. Accoya was chosen as this high-performance wood is ideally suited to this specific application, as confirmed during tests conducted by Biologisches Labor Wien-Ost and already successfully demonstrated in multiple projects.
Accoya is also gentle on bare feet, low-maintenance, grown in sustainably managed forests and comes with a guaranteed service life of at least 25 years.
We supplied approximately 15 m³ of Accoya to Holzbau Haas from Eggersdorf, allowing them to create this extremely attractive bathing area.
