Eggersdorf lido

In late 2020, the walkways and decking at Eggersdorf lido were replaced.
Many types of timber are unsuitable for use in swimming pools and lidos due to substances they contain. Accoya was chosen as this high-performance wood is ideally suited to this specific application, as confirmed during tests conducted by Biologisches Labor Wien-Ost and already successfully demonstrated in multiple projects.

Habitat Mur

An interesting project was completed using Accoya in Graz in summer 2020. In addition to the new Mursteg Bridge, which can be used both on foot and by bike, the Grünanger shallow water zone was also remodelled.

The city of Graz purposefully chose to use Accoya for the Habitat Mur project because it is extremely long-lasting and unparalleled in its durability, there is virtually no formation of cracks due to low swelling and shrinkage, and it is low-maintenance. Furthermore, the high-performance wood also withstands extreme weather conditions, is pleasant to walk on with bare feet and is sourced from sustainable forestry.

Garden lofts for Hotel Gut Guntrams

This imaginative project involved the use of over 35m³ Accoya in the shape of tongue and groove panelling and for the substructure.
This is the kind of project that really brings out the characteristic features Accoya: External walls subject to direct whether exposure, clad with jointless tongue and groove panelling that give them dimensional stability and a high level of strength.

Parklets in Graz

Update: Additional parklets in the shape of a wave were installed at Lendplatz during the summer of 2022.

As a result of this year’s Design Month, three parklets have been set up in Graz’ Zinsendorfgasse, inviting passers-by to enjoy a chance to sit and relax without having to go to a cafe. The fourth will follow in the autumn.

Thanks to its fabulous properties, such as sustainability, durability and inherent stability, the hi-tech timber Accoya was used to implement the parklet project. See for yourself - the results are on public display!

A mountain-top restaurant on the Kreischberg: ‘The Eagle’

‘The Eagle’, the new mountain-top restaurant at the Kreischberg ski resort, is a real eye-catcher. Opened in 2020, it sits enthroned on the summit of the mountain like an eagle in repose. We are proud that we have been able to furnish the material for its interior design. Faithful to the ‘ski chalet’ tradition, wood has been used for the interior layout to ensure a cosy atmosphere.
